How do I submit/post my design for the contest?   Go to the Submit Your Design page located on the “Participate” drop down menu on the navigation bar.  Your submitted design must be one of these file types:  .png  / .jpg  /  .gif  with the dimensions of 660px x 360px. Be sure to name the design and tell us the story behind it – the community will understand and support you.

What is the best way to create a design?   The best way to get started is to download the Design Submission Kit.  This kit will provide you all the details you’ll need for your design. A professional design program such as Photoshop or Illustrator will be necessary to create your design.

What is the deadline for submitting my design for the contest? Contest details can be found on the “Info” page located on the navigation bar at the top of each page.

How long does it take before my design submission is posted on the site?   We try to get the designs up on the site as quickly as possible, but it may take up t0 24-48 hours. Contact Us if you do not see your design up after 48 hours to make sure we received it.  Thanks for participating!

Is there a way I can increase my chances of winning?   Yes, let your friends and family know that you have submitted a design at CreatedMe.com. Encourage them to go to the site and vote for your design.  We have provided ideas and ways to get the word out at “Share A Design.”  Visit this page and get started.

How do I tell my friends and family about my design so that they can vote?  Great question! We want you to share your design with everyone you know.  To help we have created a page to help give you ideas for sharing your submission.   This page is a great resource for artists or anyone that wants to share a favorite design. How will I know if my design wins?  We will notify the winning artist by email. This email will also provide additional details necessary to send us the final art work. The Design Submission Kit contains all the details for the final art work requirements.  Good luck to all artists!

How do you decide which design to print? How do you decide on the winning submission?   The winning designs are determined by a combination of the scores posted, Created Me input and comments by the community.

How many designs can I submit?   You can submit as many designs as you would like. We want creative and compelling designs that are appealing but also bring awareness to the cause for which is designed.  Please do not submit multiple versions of the same design with slight changes (such as color). In this case, we will only display one design so send us your best!

Who owns the copyright for the designs submitted for the contests?    All designs submitted become the property of Created Me for 90 days from the date of submission unless we print your design.  All submitted designs that get printed will become the permanent exclusive property of Created Me, LLC.  These rights include the rights to the design for commercial or promotional use.

Will my design be changed or altered in any way before it is printed?   From time to time we have to change a design due to production requirements.  We only make changes if absolutely necessary.  It is our desire to stay as true as possible to what the artist had in mind when the work was created.

Can I resubmit a design that does not win?  A design can only be resubmitted if a significant change has been made to the design.   Decisions on whether to accept a resubmit are handled on a case-by-case basis and are at the sole discretion of Created Me.

Can I change/alter my design after I have submitted it?  No, designs are considered complete once submitted.  Make sure you are happy with the design before submitting it.

Can I specify the t-shirt color or t-shirt style for my design?  We love to hear ideas and thoughts from the artist as it relates to t-shirt color, style, stitching or other details.  Although the final decision will be ours to make we will consider artist input.

For ANYONE (and Everyone)

Do I have to submit a design to join the tribe?  No, anyone can join the tribe. In addition to artists, we have a lot of tribe members who participate by voting on the designs and also purchasing clothing. We really want to know you opinion and voting is the best way to express yourself on any design.

Do I have to join the tribe to purchase clothing?  No, anyone can purchase.  Although we would like for you to join the tribe we respect your decision not to.  You can still support the causes by purchase clothing from our online catalog.

How do I vote for designs?  Look for the “star” located directly below the design you are interested in scoring. Click on the “star” and score the design from 1-5 stars.  Want to see a quick and easy diagram to better help you understand  the voting process – just go to the “VOTE!” page.

How many designs can I vote for?  Vote for as many designs as you would like, but only vote once per design.

Can I comment on a design in addition to voting for it?  Yes, artists like to hear your thoughts and ideas, but please be encouraging and constructive. Unfortunately,  from time to time we do have to remove comments that we view as being unusually harsh or inappropriate.  

Can I send you my idea?  I have an idea for a design but do not consider myself an artist.   No, unfortunately at this time we only accept completed designs.  If you would like to discuss your idea with the community of artists – post your thoughts on the forums.

ORDERS / PURCHASING

Will you pay for return shipping?  We will only pay for return shipping if we made an error on your order. If the returned product is not due to our error the shipping is the responsibility of the customer.  

What is your return policy?  At this time we do not issue refunds. However, if you return a product in original condition (unwashed, not worn and in original packaging) we will credit your account for the amount you paid for the item. Sorry, but no credit for shipping. Please allow up to 2 weeks to process returns. Credits expire after 2 years.

How do I pay for my order?  We accept most major credit cards.

Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?  We ship anywhere within the United States. Costs vary depending on the destination and the number of items ordered. We will be updating this section with more details as we get them.

International shipping?  We are working on arrangements to ship to our friends internationally.  If you want to order a product and you’re having difficulty please contact us via email. We’ll do our best to let you know the cost of shipping to your international destination within just a few business days of receiving your request.

Can I track my shipment?  We are working on implementing a tool to let you track your shipments. Unfortunately we do not have a way to track orders at this time.

How do I place an order? Just click SHOP on the navigation bar at the top of the page to go to our online catalog. Select the item you want along with the size, quantity and color (if color options are available). The catalog has been designed to guide you through the process.

Is your website secure?  Yes, we use Secure Server to make sure the purchasing process is safe and secure.

Why do you charge sales tax?  We charge sales tax on orders billed or shipped within the State of Texas. Because we are located in Texas, we are required by law to collect sales tax.
